Congratulations to Jeff Godowski, Housing & Residence Life, who received a SLU Spark! Jeff was recognized by John Janulis, Housing & Residence Life, for showing compassion.
"Jeff has done an excellent job showing compassion in his work with students in Marguerite Hall and across campus. Jeff has provided leadership over a departmental committee that has recently engendered student staff affinity spaces, which will provide support and developmental growth for our student employees in housing. Jeff has also worked diligently to ensure that students who are from other countries feel welcomed into their home in Marguerite Hall. Jeff has done this through incorporating multiple languages in his official communication and for taking steps to strengthen our collaboration and communication with INTO at SLU and International Services. Last, Jeff has received compliments from the Department of Public Safety and the University Counseling Center for his sincere care and compassion when working with students experiencing crisis situations."
