Danielle was selected to represent Special Olympics Team USA at the World Games in Austria in May. She participated on the snowshoe team. She received a silver medal in the 4x400m relay team, and a bronze medal in the 400m individual event.

Congratulations, Amanda
Congratulations to Amanda Chamberland, Program Director, in the School of Education, and husband Jon Butler, on their marriage. Amanda and Jon were married on May 13, at St. Francis Xavier College Church.
Amanda says: "Jon and I met while volunteering at an event in 2012. He proposed on our 3 year anniversary while we were on vacation in Anna Maria Island, Florida. Jon is a graduate (2005) of SLU so it made sense for us to hold our wedding ceremony at College Church since SLU is such a huge part of our lives!"
