Congratulations to Thomas Harashe, Facilities Management, who received a SLU Spark! Thomas was recognized by Amelisa Blanton, Social Work, for serving others.
"Over the past two weeks, we've had lots of heating and cooling issues in our building. Thomas has responded quickly to requests, helping to ensure that our auditorium didn't feel like a sauna for our graduation ceremony for students, and our offices didn't feel like freezer boxes. He has approached the challenges with a wonderful sense of humor and grace that has lifted spirits in our office. He has taken the time to check in with each individual in our office, to see how the temperature is, and how he can best assist to make the temperature the best it can be. Currently, he's working away in our ceiling, for the second day in a row, and won't stop until he's got it fixed and right. I'm grateful for Thomas's dedication and time to our faculty, staff, and students, and for his incredible attitude along the way!!"
