Congratulations to Amanda Chamberland, Program Director, in the School of Education, and husband Jon Butler, on their marriage. Amanda and Jon were married on May 13, at St. Francis Xavier College Church.

Amanda says: "Jon and I met while volunteering at an event in 2012. He proposed on our 3 year anniversary while we were on vacation in Anna Maria Island, Florida. Jon is a graduate (2005) of SLU so it made sense for us to hold our wedding ceremony at College Church since SLU is such a huge part of our lives!"

Congratulations to Lisa Brooks, Research Assistant, Sr. in Comparative Medicine, and husband Thomas Tempel, on their marriage. Lisa and Thomas will be married on June 2 in Riviera Maya Mexico.

Congratulations, Amelia!

Congratulations to Amelia Blanton, Program Coordinator in the School of Social Work, and husband Nathaniel Hibner, Ph.D. student in Health Care Ethics & Moral Theology, on their marriage. Amelia and Nathaniel were married on October 8 at St. Margaret of Scotland and Lumen Church in St. Louis. Nate and Amelia originally met in Boston, MA at Boston College where they both pursued graduate school. They were engaged in May 2015 in Forest Park. The Blanton Hibners are excited to start their journey as husband and wife!

Congratulations to Tori Bornholdt, Administrative Assistant in Pediatrics, and husband J.P. on their marriage. Tori and J.P. were married on May 29 at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The reception was held at Lucas Park Grille, which was also where the couple had their first date in November 2013.

Congratulations to Tony King, Residence Hall Coordinator in Housing and Residence Life, and husband, Brendan Boykin, on their marriage on May 20 in St. Louis City.

Brendan and Tony originally met in Arkansas when Tony was attending graduate school. The two then got engaged in May of 2014 and the rest is history.

Congratulations to Jennica Botonis, Major Exploration Academic Advisor in Student Development, and her wife, Mackenzie Schofield on their marriage.

Jennica Botonis and Mackenzie Schofield had their wedding on June 18th, at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Mackenzie's alma mater. They were married in the USAFA Cadet Chapel. Mackenzie proposed to Jennica in April 2015 after learning that she would be flying the C-21 out of Scott Air Force Base.

Congratulations to Stephanie Bell, Medical Assistant in Family & Community Medicine, and Michael Harris, who were married on October 10 at the Lodge at Grant's Trail in St. Louis. Stephanie and Michael originally met when they were in grade school and he gave her one of his stuffed bunny rabbits before the bus arrived. Many moons later, they started dating in 2009, and Michael proposed in a pumpkin patch in 2013.

The couple was married in Steamboat Springs, CO at Holy Name Catholic Church. The couple met at the wedding of Andrew's cousin, who is Mackenzie's best friend from high school.

Congratulations to Lindsay Dencker, TRIO SSS Program Coordinator in Student Educational Services, who was married to Trevor Gonterman on August 15. The couple was married in St. Louis at the Highlands Golf & Tennis Center. Lindsay said "Our wedding day was bursting with love, laughter, family and friends. We got married on my parent's 40th wedding anniversary and surprised them with their own cake at the reception. All in all, it was the best day ever!"
