Congratulations to Karl Aldrich, Career Services, who received a SLU Spark! Karl was recognized by Kim Reitter, Career Services, for driving change and innovation.
"Karl is an Assistant Director at Career Services. During his tenure in Career Services, he has shown an ability and drive to improve processes and programs. He established a reporting system to record our outreach efforts and worked to initiate a mobile app to help students navigate career fairs. Always creative and innovative, Karl planned and executed a Betabox Innovation Challenge to help students create an innovative solution to a problem in a team environment, a pre-career fair networking event to teach students networking skills, and he was instrumental in transitioning to our new career services management system, Handshake. Karl is at his best when he is brainstorming new and innovative ways to approach a problem or to help students with their job search."
